As you know dancing is one of the most important parts of Sid Meier’s Pirates! By dancing you can recieve valuable items like pistols,swords, etc. Also you can get some important information. So you cant just ignore that part of the game because you bad at this. In this guide i will tell you how to be good at dancing, so you can really enjoy the game.

So,basically,to dance you need to use your NUMPAD to go in the right direction. But i think you already know that. The main problem here is to identify which of directions you need to go.You can identify directions by gestures of governors daughter. Here are all gestures with description.
I suggest to use one hand only, but if you feel comfortable you can use both of them.

On higher levels of difficulty dancing becomes much harder. So here are some advices:
-Your best helping hand here is your memory. Try to practice more and remember moves combination because they are repetitive. So you can memorize them and this will be much easier.
-PRACTICE PRACTICE PRACTICE.
-Try to remember different songs beats. It will help you too. If you try to remember song rhythm and then dance according to this rhythm you will see how much helpful it is.
