Wendy is the 3rd unlockable character In the game. To unlock her you will need to earn 640 X.P (survive 32 days). The perks of Wendy are that she loses less sanity when in the dark or when being around monsters (e.g a spider). Her other perk is that she starts with a uniqe item called Abigail's Flower. The flower has three stages of blooming, at the final stage the flower will be dark red and open. When the flower is at the final stage the player can place it on the ground and it will be glowing. The player must simply kill a anything around the flower and Abigail will spawn. The player is unable to capture a bird or rabbit and murder it in their inventory to summon Abigail. The easiest way to summon Abigail is to kill a butterfly as they can be killed without using a weapon.
Wendy's only disadvantage is that she does 25% less damage. She has 150 health, 150 hunger and 200 sanity.

Abigail is a protective follower that can be summoned by Wendy. A protective follower means she will attack anything that attacks Wendy or anything that Wendy attacks. When summoned Abigail drains 50 sanity from Wendy but that doesn't matter as when she has full sanity she has 200. Abigail does 10 damage at day, 20 at dusk and 40 at night and has an impressive 600 health. Don't worry about the krampus as he will not take the flower.

The player should start in this season

The player should try and build their base in an area with beefalo and a rock land. If not the player should collect a large amount of rocks while exploring (about 4 pickaxes worth). The player should mainly mine gold rocks but also mine at least 2 regular rocks. This is because the nitre from the regular rocks can be used to make an endothermic fire pit. Find a clockwork monster aswell and use Abigail to kill it. This is so you can get gears for an ice box. If possible the player using the help of abigail should destroy 3 spider nests, meaning they hopefully get 8 silk. the player should hunt a Koalefant and craft a breezy vest and by killing some beefalo craft a beefalo hat. The player should also craft a thermal stone, collect 40 logs(and enough to make 2 log suits for Deerclops) and build sevral traps to catch rabbits. Have abigail kill some pigs or hammer a pig house to get pig skin to make 2 football helmets. Using the poop from beefalo build about 6 improved farms. Finaly the player should make a crockpot. The player is now ready for winter.

The player should not start in this season

Winter starts on day 21 and ends on day 36. There are two threats in winter: freezing and the deerclops. Freezing can be pervented by wearing things like a beefalo hat and a breezy vest and holding a hot thermal stone in the inventory. If possible, hunt a winter Koalefant and make a puffy vest ready for the next winter. You won't need to worry about the deerclops until its been winter for about 7 days. Wendy will say "Death incarnate" when the deerclops is approaching. If she says this you must flee from your main base a build a fire far away. When it's morning lead deerclops into a heard of beefalo. He will likely kill them but he'll be quite damaged making its easy for Wendy to kill him. Other than that the player should survive winter if they keep making traps. On day 36 winter turns to spring.

The player should Definitely not start in this season

In spring rabit holes close up so the player must rely berry bushes and farms. In spring The moose/goose will spawn in the 2nd-4th day of spring. an easy way to kill it is to use a sleep dart as just 1 will put the moose/goose to sleep. if they player has made the old bell then thay should use it on the moose/goose. if the moose/goose is left for a day the moose/goose will make baby moslings
will will make the fight significantly more difficult. In preperation for summer the player should kill some tentacles and catch and kill some birds so they can make a summer frest. like previously mentioned the player should build an endothermic fire pit. The player is now ready for Summer.

The player should not start in this season

In summer the player should use their endothermic fire pit instead of the regular fire pit. This is because in summer it's extremely hot and the player can burn. The player should keep their thermal stone as they can put it next to an endothermic fire to make it cold. Plants will die and need fertilizing to grow food again. This means The player must rely on meat. Another threat is the dragonfly. the dragonfly will not attack the player unless attacked but will spit fire on various objects therefore destroying them. the player should just use the old bell 3 times to kill the dragonfly. The only other threat in summer is that fires will randomly start.
