First of all mate im not trying to wind you up and have a dig at you so lets set that record straight. We cool? kushtie.

Its no bug, when the station is busy, or its at a known busy system then you are put in a queue. When ships are coming out and you have the DC installed you get put in a holding pattern. The only ship that stops you getting past in the Cobra is the T9, or Flying Breezeblock as its affectionately called. And ever since Beta 1.2 which is when I started playing it, the only major bug was the DC not putting you down properly, instead it was about 40 feet away from center.

I did actually install one about a month ago in a T7 to try and speed up the trading process (get permission to dock, throttle down and plot the route back) and it boosted me through the letterbox at 249M/S. The quickest way is drop out of SC, replot the route back, get permission to dock, do youre transactions then go back out. Well it is for me anyway.

Judz, That used to be a bug...... I have not experienced it with the latest patches.

Even though you enjoy VR dude, my bro is using that wretched docking computer, and he spent 20 minutes waiting for it to take him into a Coreolis (Bestii) so he could drop off his cargo. In that time I could have done 4 cargo runs and made 8 mill while he would have made 200k in profit share just off me...plus the amount of money he would have made himselftrading in his Cobra III.
Take it off mate and use it on a bigger ship (T9 or Anaconda) or save for a decent and outfitted explorer and thats when your VR will most certainly come into its own.

its cool, yhea but a massive waste of space, like seriously you could have an advanced scanner and get exploration in stead of that if you have any class 1/2 things but anyway in a python i can dock fater than that, so a new player cant be that bad!! Also it takes the fun out of it, like when you go to the back of the station and play a game of chicken with your mates about who can get the closest to another ship on exit of the station without killing it, getting a bounty and dyinhg because your in a space station! Or even just docking is fun and especialty after going for a long expediton (not in a python, like an ASP Explorer), there cool but I would never buy/recomend buying one. I however respect your decition to buy one if you are so bad at elite or like you said for the first tme in VR. Good vid tho, nice to see one in action

Nothing better than to get 7.50clicks from the station, kick in auto-dock and then just sit back in VR and enjoy the sights. Also good for showing friends Elite in VR for the 1st time.
