I have other pictures that I will upload later. Some are before/after pictures of my backyard. I also found a stone base (one would place an umbrella into it), and my dad placed an antique handpump in it. During the Summer, I wrap morning glories around it (they grow from the fence behind it) and it looks absolutely lovely when the flowers all bloom!
That sounds fantastic! I live in a small apartment complex with my SO where it is private and quiet but there is no garden, although I do go home to Mum's on the weekends to compensate for the lack of greenery. But still I'd love to have my own garden. I have the opposite of a green thumb and kill everything including machines..... but a girl can dream. My pride and joy is that I've kept my dog
I will let you know for sure! I will have him take some pictures and I will post them here.
As for how many we've collected in total so far? Hmmmm. I'd say between 10-15 so far.
Oooh do share with us when he does finish what he is thinking of doing with the orange bricks in your parents' garden.
About how many do you reckon you have collected now?
Thank you! While my parents mainly look for larger pieces of glass now, they also look for pretty looking stones (they shelaque ((sp?)) them, so they always look "wet") to put in their flower garden or in other locations. My dad is also collecting bricks that wash up (the orange ones) as he has an idea of what he wants to do with them in their backyard.
I will also collect stones if they look really pretty. I found one once that looked like a piece of pink bubblegum. Alas, I lost it. I must have dropped it when I was dropping my found treasures into the container I use to carry everything while beachcombing.
P.S. Your collection is very pretty. My SO has a similar hobby of going to beaches and collecting pebbles and small stones.
