you seem to have entered a 45mph or lower area. before the traffic light warning sign, there seems to be a white speed limit sign.

keep in mind the semi did have 10k hp

i have past a cop going about 200mph on a straight road it was not to cheap

i got a ticket for like 2k once.

i was noticing the same problem while driving, i found that there are green sings that say your are entering a certain area, like the actaul city, past the green sing the speed limit will drop from 55 to 30, sometimes even from 80 to 35 in Nevada, hope its help full, has saved me a lot of tickets.

didnt you see the city or what? Same like in real life. You have to be on speed limit after the sign (in europe its 100m beyond dont know the rules in usa)
