Report a translation problem
My thought process for trying to escape was that I'd hold randall hostage with his gun, and attempt to get me and pete out of there. It was a rash move and I shouldn't have done it, but it was in the heat of the moment.
To your answer about the window, the window was far more risky. You couldn't look inside, and as you later find out, there are walkers in there. The ladder may have been slightly broken, but we didn't have any walkers on the top.
I hated the kids as well, and personally enjoyed watching Greg getting beat up.
