Calm and Quiet: Complete the whole game without letting Lily know you're a killer.

This guide will point to you all conditions and problems which you may face on attempt to get this achievement.

This achievement can be done in few ways:
You can achieve it by not killing anyone.
You can achieve it by killing some guards but without letting Lily to notice you killed them. Also Lily can't see dead bodies so you have to hide them in bushes, haystacks or behind obstacles like crates, barrels and anything you can find in game.
You can achieve it by passing whole level(s) without killing anyone, make Lily to come to end of the level and then slaughter all guards in level and come back to Lily.

The most important part is to do not let Lily see you killed anyone. This is the only condition during gameplay. Second condition is to select proper ending and this ending is to spare the king. When you select this ending achievement unlocks.


There might be a problem with suicidial guards. Some guards may have enough of a night watch and commit a suicide in front of Lily. If they do this you need to use time rewind as long to make guard to not kill himself or if you haven't spotted the guard commiting a suicide you will need to repeat whole level.

as you MUST kill all guards to get another cheev its pointless to kill just a few then not kill the king

Example of a suicidal guard... right uh any pointers towards at what point on the video there be suicidal guard?

This was teh first ending I did - it took much less time and was much easier than any other, to play entirely non-lethal... Took only 10 hours.

If you're in a session in which you break the little girl's heart - it's possible to quit back to main screen and then alt-tab out to delete the Shadwen save folder (or save-slot file) (Steam\userdata\<steamID>\425210\) and then - making use of Steamcloud - alt-f4 the game and reopen it so that Steamcloud re-writes the slot/folder from the last sync.

Just had to do that, after I lazily reloaded the final checkpoint to get the a few ending achievements. Heart is broken for the slot - meaning broken heart even before you meet the girl...

There's a whole bunch of cheats for this game that can be accessed from the console - allowing change of player, inventory stuff, time alteration - but no way to alter that heart... This is the only way to "reset" a broken heart.

If you want this achievement and in first playthrough you made A Murder of Crows ach., you need to choose new save slot and start a new game with 0% progress.

Yes, that's the icon. Now i do not remember exactly but i think it is broken heart when she seen you killing someone.

Only getting to the menu by pressing ESC, but opening the inventory, I see a white heart with Lilys name underneath. Is it that what you mean and am I fine as long as I see this white heart like that?

Is there a way to know if Lily thinks you are a murder / how many guards you killed or killed themselfes? Except the "no guards killed" achievement at the end of each chapter.
