Play Duke with Windows 10!!

Windows 10 is not supported by DNF, but it works fine for me!!

I do not need to use any compatibility mode. I only use administrator rights!

For using multiplayer you have to be ONLINE in your Friends menu!

But after playing some hours it didn´t start any more!!!

After hard fights i find a solution for me!

Where does Duke Nukem Forever store it's save games?

DNF doesn't make new saved games, it saves your stats and loads checkpoints from pre-made save games located in the folder C:\Steam\steamapps\common\duke nukem forever\Maps\checkpoints

The game progress and ini files are stored separately in your Steam userdata folder located at C:\Steam\userdata\...Steam-UID#...\57900\remote but this is synced with the Steam Cloud servers and can't be easily modified.

Files in remote folder:
-last.dcp
-last.sav
-meta.dnp
-progress.ini
-system.ini
-user.ini




2. Deaktivating Steam Cloud
Deaktivate Cloud Sync by unchecking:



3. Delet system.ini
4. Start Game and configurate it with option menu
If you make changes, try them and make some RESTARTS!!
5. Reaktivate Steam Cloud
Check Cloud Sync enable button in steam configuration.

Steam now opens a window asking what to do!

Tell steam to save LOCAL files in CLOUD by uploading!!
