HugsLib

Description
This is a library that provides shared functionality for other mods.
For best results, make sure that HugsLib comes right after Core in your mod load order.

Also includes the Log Publisher: press Ctrl+F12 to upload your Rimworld logs and get a link to easily share them with others.

Can be safely added to existing games.

Agree, 1.5 seems way more finicky and in totally unexpected and in new and harder to trace ways.

I gave up on 1.5 Rimworld. Its absolutely unplayable. I played modded Rimworld since Alpha 12 and I never had problems like that. Something is seriously fucked up since 1.5. Black Screens, Crashes and Error Generating Map pretty much all the time. One of the major Mods must be completely fücked when updated to 1.5. Either HugsLib, Harmory, VEF or RocketMan.

after days of not playing because a mod or multiple mods caused errors and game breaking bugs since 1.5 launched (couldn't craft, game crashed when events would start) and days of trying to figure out why my game won't start (ether black screen or freezes to load), buy removing all the mods leaving only harmony,prepacher,big + small framework and HugsLib. I find today that HugsLib is at fault , most mods that I'm using need HugsLib and I never had this issue before (1.0,1.1,1.2,1.3,1.4), so please try to fix it

Is hugslib known for easy breaking?
Adding several minor mods and suddenly I can´t use quickstart test anymore.

Black screen fix
Go to Rimworldwin64.exe it will be where you downloaded your game. right click on it go to properties then compatibility, there should be an option called change high dpi settings, click on it. Now there should be an option called override high dpi scaling behaviour, make sure it's ticked and choose system. This worked for me.
