AOA (Hangul: 에이오에이; an acronym for Ace of Angels) is a South Korean idol girl group signed under FNC Entertainment. Initially, AOA debuted as an eight-member girlband that consisted of Choa, Jimin, Yuna, Youkyung, Chanmi, Hyejeong, Seolhyun, and Mina. Currently, AOA is promoting as a seven-member idol girl group without Youkyung, who was only a part of AOA Black. The group officially debuted by having their debut music stage on August 9, 2012 on M! Countdown.On October 15, 2016, FNC Entertainment released an official statement announcing the departure of Youkyung from the group, following the termination of her contract.

AOA（全称Ace Of Angels ），韩国FNC Entertainment旗下女子组合，是该公司推出的首支女子组合。由七名全天使申智珉、朴草娥、徐酉奈、申惠晶、权珉阿、金雪炫、金澯美，与一名半天使徐有庆组成。组合分为乐队（申智珉、朴草娥、徐酉奈、权珉阿、徐有庆五人）和舞团（申智珉、朴草娥、徐酉奈、申惠晶、权珉阿、金雪炫、金澯美七人）两种形式。同时包括AOA Black、AOA White和AOA Cream三个小分队。2012年7月30日，发行首张韩语单曲专辑《Angels’ Story》，正式在韩国出道。2014年1月16日，发行第五张韩语单曲专辑《短裙》，凭借该曲获得出道后首个音乐节目周榜一位。2014年10月1日，发行首张日文单曲专辑《Mini Skirt》，正式在日本出道。2016年1月21日获得韩国第30届金唱片奖音源部门本赏。
