You should wait the shadow kingdom, as AI in the empire is to high, but it doesnt mean you cant expand at all, however I recommend you doing it with german nations, such as the swiss, cuz you will not get a good chance on atacking them again, as you will leave the hre, and when you do, snowball into italy

I know prestige is important, but it's hard keep it up high since "recent" updates, especially when you're small and can't afford to go warring every two to three years. Since i saw your post i found it was time to get the italian ambition as Milan, but my AE is just to high to keep stacking provinces AND have high prestige.

yes, it is k. About the prestige, lets say france has no heir and two royal marriages, from these 2 the dinasty from the nation with higher prestige rises to the throne, and if the french ruler dies again with no heir (now being of your dinasty), you will get the PU. Another interesting thing about succession wars, if your rival nation falls into a PU, even if you dont have the same dinasty, you'll still get the pop up to declare a war for the throne, just because they were your rival!

impressive, i personaly never considered pu's to be a tactic but just pure luck. I guess i was wrong, a PU over France sounds orgasmic.

A lot of royal marriages, I always payed attention to the disputed succession alert, I also manteined my prestige reaaally high, like 70-100, its very important to have good prestige if you want to succed in the game of thornes, also, the most important, cross your fingers so that 60 years old king with no legal heir dies soon :P
