A Delicious Chicken Dinner
Hey there. Today I wanna share some of my best tips and tricks for making yourself a fresh and tasty chicken dinner. It's as easy as 1-2-3, so let's get started.

Step 1: At first, you're going to need to collect a few key ingredients. Cooking is incredibly dangerous and, for general safety purposes, you'll require a 5.56 or 7.62 caliber weapon with atleast a 4x scope. As quickly and safely as you can, locate a primary weapon with atleast (1) reload's worth of ammo. A good weapon is all you *truly* need and you can usually find *something* in the first or second house, so keep calm and loot on. If you don't find a scope, don't sweat it. You will eventually.

* Cut chicken breasts horizontally, almost in half and place in bowl or marinating dish. Pour buttermilk over chicken. Cover and refrigerate for at least 4 hours. Drain chicken. Whisk flour salt and pepper in a bowl or pie dish (I used a pie dish). Dredge chicken in flour mixture.

Step 2: These first 2-3 minutes are fairly critical. In order to cook such a succulent dish, you'll need to outfit yourself with various other necessities like armor, medkits, and weapon mods. You can maximize your looting by picking large structures such as apartments which have many rooms and floors, and thus, many chances for loot. [Note]: Loot can be found *everywhere*. Try not to overdo it with the ammo -- your inventory space fills up fast. 150 rounds is usually plenty for your primary weapon.

* Over medium heat, add oil to skillet to measure 1 1/2 inches (or to cover chicken). Heat oil over medium-high heat until candy thermometer registers 375-degrees F.

Step 3: Assuming you found a good-sized frying pan and some herbs, you'll now need to relocate to a spot aroundabouts the center of the current circle. Spend as little time outdoors/running in the open as possible. You are safest lying prone indoors, watching a doorway. Contrary to popular belief, homicide is not a component of cooking chicken dinners and avoiding unnecessary conflict gets you that much closer to your goal. [Note]: Locating where the last circle is going to be is mostly luck with a bit of instinct. Just do your best and be ready to relocate.

* Add 3 chicken breast pieces at a time, frying until golden, turning once (8-10 minutes). Drain on paper towels. Repeat with remaining chicken.

Step 4: In the last 5 minutes or so of the game, you will find yourself in the top 10 with an ever-shrinking circle. With a bit of luck and foresight, you should try to be positioned along the highground with cover, but circumstances may vary. Regardless of position, stay vigilant and keep prone as much as possible. Bushes provide excellent concealment (but no cover). Do not fire unless fired upon (or you have a silencer and a clean shot), and continue avoiding conflict. You must conserve your HP and ammo until the very end. Every moment that passes, people will continue killing each other, which in turn saves you trouble.

* Place potatoes in a large pot, add water to cover. Boil potatoes until tender (15-20 minutes). Drain. Transfer to large serving bowl. Heat half and half and butter in a small saucepan over medium heat until butter melts. Add warm butter/cream to potatoes and mash potatoes. Stir in sour cream. Keep warm until serving.

Step 5: Now it's just you and one or two others remaining. Make sure you have taken pills/energy drinks and are at full health/boost. Minimize movement. Scan your surroundings closely. If you manage to spot your enemy before he spots you, this is your precious opportunity to deal a killing blow. Wait patiently for a clean shot. Keep an eye on the circle. If he's outside, he'll have to expose himself and that's when you strike. If there's multiple enemies remaining, let them engage each other while you bide your time. There can be only one (chicken dinner).

* Heat oil in large saucepan over medium high heat. Add onion and saute until onion is golden (6-8 minutes). Stir in flour and worchestshire sauce, cook 2 minutes more, stirring. Stir in cream and milk. Reduce heat to medium and simmer for 5-8 minutes, stirring constantly. Stir in green onions and thyme. Cook stirring until gravy is thick (2-5 minutes). Season with salt and pepper.

Here are some great community suggestions that you can add to your next dinner.

  • Never pick a fair fight. Use stealth and positioning to overwhelm your enemy.
  • Dress for success. Note the colors of your character to better blend with your surroundings.
  • Stick together. You can always find more gear; you can't find more teammates.
  • Remember that everyone is moving towards the same goal. Threats can come from anywhere, but they are typically more likely to come from behind *and* more dangerous.
  • Houses/structures in the final circles are usually already occupied. Exercise extreme caution if you decide to enter one.
  • Bushes are love. Bushes are life.
  • Each time you fire your weapon, you are announcing your location to other players. Not everyone you see is worth shooting at.
