How to Roll Back to a Previous Update
If you ever run into a problem with a new update making your game run badly or it will no longer open, try the following these steps to roll back to a older version of the game.

Find RotTR in your library and right click on it and click "properties".

Then the properties menu will open. Click on the tab at the top called "Betas" and select which version you would like to run.
Now you should see the game appear in your downloads page with an update. Just let it download and then you should be able to play.

All Done. I hope this Guide helped :D

Found a bug, don't know if it has been reported. Went back to find all documents in the Geothermal Valley. Saw one at the Cathedral that I hadn't gotten. It meant climbing all of the way back to the top of the Cathedral, which was a bit tiresome, b/c the doc was just inside the Cathedral after you get to the very top. But, unlike all of the others, I can't get to it, because the last painted jump point into the Cathedral Archives does not exist after the initial play through.

is there a guide of what each patch is really good for. Like on my low end (or old mid range) i don't care about dx12. and I would like to know if there have been FPS regressions due to any patches geared toward dx12 and windows 10 compromises, on the dx11 front. My card won't do any of that ray tracing stuff. And I suspect the game may have run better in the past for those of us not up date on hard ware. We do exist. I say that because Shadow of TR runs better than rise on my machine (until it gets modernized too i guess). The patch history has gaps too. Any highlights from the past. looking to go back to minimize dx11 regression, but maximize gameplay real bugs.
