Dwarven daggers are not smeltable. Mod dead?
The Wicked North 30 Apr, 2020 @ 7:19am
How do you use this? :))
Warrant Officer Manslaughter 1 Jul, 2019 @ 6:29pm
any plans to add smeltable armor?
The Galvon 28 May, 2019 @ 12:47am
Not sure if you still mod skyrim at all or not, but any chance this could get ported to skyrim SE?
nonameyet 29 Dec, 2018 @ 12:51pm
How simple would it be to make it so that reverse sm ithing produces 1 less ingot than the number required? I'm thinking of revising this so as not to be exploitable.
Charly-Fox Alain 9 Dec, 2018 @ 7:14am

mhiggins1979 18 Sep, 2017 @ 11:00pm
I agree with lots of others, ability to smelt armors would be great!!!:steamhappy:
BRACK/MOUTH 24 Jan, 2017 @ 12:55pm
or Dwarven Daggers . . . can't melt those either.
BRACK/MOUTH 24 Jan, 2017 @ 12:51pm
did you forget to add a recipe for melting Ebony Greatswords? i can melt down all other ebony weapons but greatswords.
nathan1546 1 Jul, 2016 @ 9:03am
I have he mod but for some reason it doesn't come up with the option to smelt down weapons. Do I have to go to a certain place to do this? Or have a certain rank in smithy??
der_doe 22 Jun, 2016 @ 5:46am
Great mod! Just what I've been looking for ;)
Jo★Ёrudite★Marksman 14 Apr, 2016 @ 12:38am

Jo★Ёrudite★Marksman 13 Apr, 2016 @ 5:33pm
looks very useful mod, i gathered up a lot of weapons from enomies.,most of them are useless., but i still have to buy new ingots from blacksmith, now, i can save money by reserving back to ingredients., i am going to try this out, thx , highly appreciate your work., :steamhappy:
TillaSiren 25 Mar, 2016 @ 5:37pm
can you add armors?, I have developed the bad habit of uncrafting my weapons too
rg101967 13 Jan, 2016 @ 7:39pm
love the mod! would be awesome to have the items from the dragonborn dlc as well if doable ie nordic, stalhrim
Elvis Gretzky 19 Dec, 2015 @ 4:27pm
@Cowfish It does support glass...
The World Needs A Hero 6 Nov, 2015 @ 11:08am
Finally I can melt my useless weapons, how about melting armour?
Cowfish 25 Oct, 2015 @ 2:39pm
what about glass?
TheEpicSpire 26 May, 2015 @ 7:11am
the problem with adding it to the tech/skill trees would be compatibility with mods that alter those trees.. i assume...
Cheef Geef 29 Apr, 2015 @ 6:19pm
This seems like a usefull mod, however, it does seem a bit overpowered. Pherhaps if it were to be intigrated into the tech tree it would balance things out.
Can 6 Apr, 2015 @ 11:03am
Armors ?
usabaker 23 Mar, 2015 @ 8:10pm
Also, this mod looks VERY usefull.
Xx Killback xX 30089 8 Mar, 2015 @ 5:27pm
looks really helpful
Iraxt 28 Nov, 2014 @ 12:17am
I'm sorry to hear that. I'd love to help you, but sadly I don't know shit about modding.
Simple Seer  [author] 27 Nov, 2014 @ 11:31pm
I'd love to do so, but unfortunately Ive lost the files for all of my mods due to harddrive issues (dont ask), and cant seem to get the CK to work anymore. Pehaps somebody else can?
Iraxt 3 Nov, 2014 @ 8:32am
Any chance you could add this for armors as well? I'm kinda getting real sick of having to sell all the armors I find just to earn a little more gold when the real thing I need is iron for my houses in Hearthfire.
StarDusT_184 7 Oct, 2014 @ 7:07am
really coll i got too many weapons i know what i will doing with them now.
Simple Seer  [author] 11 Jul, 2014 @ 10:27am
Absolutely my pleasure. In the near future I hope to return to modding and continue to make the best content I can. This is why I do it. Thank you.
The Goatfather 8 Jul, 2014 @ 8:21am
Found this due to Gamespot thank you so much for making this mod.
Timesplitter 5 Jun, 2014 @ 11:29pm

Nexmanus 24 May, 2014 @ 5:47am
you should make it so you have all the skills of crafting and then put this mod with it
Cat of Riddles 26 Mar, 2014 @ 10:44pm
are Skyforge Steel weapeons counted under "Steel"?
Juggernaut 17 Mar, 2014 @ 6:54pm
ah, i see.
Simple Seer  [author] 17 Mar, 2014 @ 6:52pm
I believe this is because imperial weapons are not smeltable at all. This is due to the fact htat I believe that they are an alloy, so It is impossible to smelt it back into base components.
Juggernaut 17 Mar, 2014 @ 6:47pm
You also can't smelt imperial swords
Simple Seer  [author] 11 Mar, 2014 @ 3:55pm
0311tech, No, unfortunately I cannot, If i knw a bit more about your modding setup I could try to help. Sorry you are having this problem!
Simple Seer  [author] 11 Mar, 2014 @ 3:54pm
dogt8 If I have time to get back into modding, absolutely.
ctcole 11 Mar, 2014 @ 9:03am
Will you be adding un smelting armor?
Technical Joker 10 Mar, 2014 @ 10:45am
Keep smelting my current weapons down, so I'm sadly removing this mod, but alas.. It still is running after being removed. Any idea why?
Arath Hunter 12 Feb, 2014 @ 5:06pm
Why no Armor smelting?
Simple Seer  [author] 4 Feb, 2014 @ 3:08pm
thank you!
nannyoggins 4 Feb, 2014 @ 6:23am
Smithing is always a big part of my game so this is a very useful, I might say indispensible mod!
Simple Seer  [author] 3 Feb, 2014 @ 1:41pm
Unfortunately, no. I havent gotten a script set up to grant xp for it, but its a good idea!
Wayne101101 3 Feb, 2014 @ 8:40am
Do you get xp from unsmelting?
Simple Seer  [author] 5 Jan, 2014 @ 2:22pm
Understandable. Thanks for letting me know. I will remove your comment to all players and put in my desscription, so it wont move down.
bluecoougar 5 Jan, 2014 @ 12:53pm
I HAVE UNSUBSCRIBED but I kept favorited will keep a watch.
Simple Seer  [author] 5 Jan, 2014 @ 12:38pm
@bluecougar that I know of unfaortunately, no. There are many constraints on the smelter. I would have liked to make a better ui, the ability to make more than one item be returned and so on, but the system constrained it too much. my apologies.
bluecoougar 5 Jan, 2014 @ 12:10pm
@3PSQWERTY The only problem that I found is -- There is now way to know which weapon your smelting!! I lost 3 legendary enchanted Ebony Daggers!! Is there a possibliity to select the weapon to smelt (ie iron daggers that were crafted to level up)? Until this is fixed I will not use your mod. The concept is great. I'm witholding rating untill fixed.
Bones_Skywalker 31 Dec, 2013 @ 6:48pm
thank you now i have reasons to loot bandits and things, plus this is much easier and faster than going to a mine and mining ore. this also gives you more ingots. great job.
JohnnyQuest101 19 Dec, 2013 @ 2:52pm
I highlighted the steel and didn't see the option to reduce the steel sword to steel ingots.
