@RutraNickers Maybe in a future
NuanKi  [tekijä] 10.10. klo 10.55
Thanks, compatibility has been added. You can use either one or both together if you're using other features from Rimmsqol (the Material Sub-Menu takes priority).
Warspite Enthusiast 10.10. klo 5.24
Hello again, just a heads-up that Material Sub-Menu and its dependency Float Sub-Menus can also be used to group the doors and is far lighter than RIMMSqol.
RutraNickers 9.10. klo 5.55
Can you make a standalone version that doesn't need VVE? I want to only use rimthunder vehicles, but they don't have garage doors.
Warspite Enthusiast 5.10. klo 16.42
Ah, right. I forgot that they are both stuffable and a dropdown. Thanks!
NuanKi  [tekijä] 5.10. klo 11.53
RIMMSQol also has some nice QoL features, such as in the floors dropdown, where instead of showing the material as a preview, it shows the tile made from the material without needing to select the material
NuanKi  [tekijä] 5.10. klo 11.49
@Warspite Enthusiast
The patch for the dropdown does use the vanilla <designatorDropdown>, but only when RIMMSQol is present. This is because (see the last image on the RIMMSQol mod page) it has a feature that allows switching between both dropdowns (materials or buildings) by clicking again, whereas vanilla can only show one or the other.
Warspite Enthusiast 5.10. klo 5.20
Hello, is there a reason that the dropdown menu feature has to be patched through RIMMSqol instead of just using the vanilla <designatorDropdown> argument?
NuanKi  [tekijä] 29.9. klo 9.59
both
jjh5874 29.9. klo 9.22
does this need vanilla vehicles expanded or just the framework?
Darkequation 28.9. klo 19.29
Awesome as always!
Is it possible to have vanilla-like doors that open horizontally, just for aesthetics?
Cirdain 19.9. klo 20.20
Can confirm, it's fine now. Thanks for the quick turnaround on that!
NuanKi  [tekijä] 19.9. klo 16.49
Fixed. Thanks for the report!
Cirdain 19.9. klo 8.04
So, weird issue. With this installed all garage doors are destroying any floors under them when they open. No errors are popping
Fiendix 16.9. klo 13.20
swell! :D thanks
NuanKi  [tekijä] 16.9. klo 12.39
To test, I first updated only the armored doors code and switched between normal and armored doors to see the outcome. With the normal door, it said it was breached, but with the armored door, the red text disappeared and it indicated a breathable atmosphere.
NuanKi  [tekijä] 16.9. klo 12.31
yep, i installed sos2 and tested in the derrelict ship
Fiendix 16.9. klo 12.25
wow you did it?
i was eyeballing this out but i think it's gonna be a sub xD
Did you test it out in space?
NuanKi  [tekijä] 16.9. klo 12.22
Added compatibility with sos2
NuanKi  [tekijä] 16.9. klo 11.14
Oops, I completely forgot to look into it!

Thanks, i will start testing
Fiendix 16.9. klo 9.10
@Riggs0 i think i found it in sos2 building defs, i scrolled down to hull and it had this:

<li Class="SaveOurShip2.CompProps_ShipCachePart">
<isHull>true</isHull>
<hermetic>true</hermetic>
<roof>true</roof>
</li>

It my be copy/pastable into the garage doors xml
Riggs0 1.9. klo 19.39
@NuanKi it would be cool to see a garage door that could act as a ship hull, id bet that there is just a tag that defines something as a ship hull. The doors are compatible from what I have tried, they just dont function as the pressurized hull.
NuanKi  [tekijä] 1.9. klo 19.24
@Riggs0
Whats the problem between sos2 and the doors?
Are the VVE garage doors compatible with sos2?
If they are not, there is nothing I can do since all the functionality for the garage doors comes from VVE
Riggs0 1.9. klo 18.40
Hey any way to may sos2 compatible doors for large airlocks?
ludi1989 30.8. klo 12.27
Ah, ok now I understand the idea behind this mod ;) My thought was that Armored meant "more HP". I need to work on my reading skills 🤦‍♂️sorry for bothering you
NuanKi  [tekijä] 30.8. klo 10.38
@Ludi1989, everything looks fine in those images. The only difference is that the armored ones are resistant to explosions and thump cannons (mechanoids).
NuanKi  [tekijä] 29.8. klo 14.56
@Ludi, if you're still experiencing the issue, could you please specify which door you're referring to and provide details about the material? Also, please include the same information for the vanilla door. This will help me assist you better. Thanks!
NuanKi  [tekijä] 29.8. klo 14.50
@Ludi, the vanilla 1x4 and 1x5 doors have 640 and 700 HP, respectively, which is a 60 HP difference. The armored 1x4 and 1x5 doors in my mod have the same HP as the vanilla ones, and the HP increases or decreases by 60 per size. So, using a smaller door (1x1) means it has less HP than a larger door (1x7).

Here are the door HP stats:
1x1: 460 HP
1x2: 520 HP
1x3: 580 HP
1x4: 640 HP
1x5: 700 HP
1x6: 760 HP
1x7: 820 HP

All of this scales with the material, but that's the base HP.
Hope this helps! Thanks for using my mods.
ludi1989 29.8. klo 14.11
Armored doors have less HP than normal doors from Vanilla Vehicles Expanded, can you fix that? ;)
NuanKi  [tekijä] 14.8. klo 19.55
@Omnires, Now you can, check my new mod Boathouse Doors
Omnires 14.8. klo 0.27
Now if only I can find a mod to add doors over water so can build dock for my ships without worrying about sharks and other things swimming into my safe area to bit my pawns when they are near the water.
Da_Stonee 8.7. klo 13.29
with the addition of small auto garage doors this essentially replaces the remote doors from Doors Expanded. thanks for the great work
NoOne_ReaVen 5.7. klo 5.05
Hehehe, would it be bossible to make something like armored Hanagr Doors... for definitly not crimes against humanity.... actually I just want to defend my Tanks against Void raids
Space Guy 5.7. klo 2.12
ooh, imagine all the new killbox designs and even easier incinerator ones

good mod
NuanKi  [tekijä] 4.7. klo 15.23
@イムカ Added 1x6, 1x7, redownload the mod
イムカ 4.7. klo 14.37
\o/ thanksies.
NuanKi  [tekijä] 4.7. klo 14.36
sure
イムカ 4.7. klo 14.35
Dumb question but do you think it would be possible to get a 1x7? There haven't been many times I needed a smaller one, but so many mods seem to have 5 wide fat tanks, and getting them through the 5 wide door is super finicy.
