AA is just not scary enough, and tanks usually cost near or more then AIR
Most aerial units have a high chance of getting their points worth, as most AA is ineffectual to deter attacks. Death of a plane is not enough to consider plane units high risk high reward, as whether or an AAA net being there should be the risk assessment, not "hey I can throw my 240 point plane at a 250 point tank and get my points worth even if he dies.

Also to that last point, why do tanks cost near or almost even more then planes that can a clear advantage over armor? If I want to protect a tank, I need to at least spend double the points to support an armored column and that's still a 50/50 chance the plane will succeed in killing an Abrams.

Even if people say, "skill issue" the logistics are there in plane sight. An M1A1 abrams real life counterpart cost in the 4-5 mill $ range while an SU-24m that can kill an abarms is in real life is 24-25 mill $, while ingame it cost 240 points and the abrams cost 250. Anyone else see this?

i mean ye but you can have something like what 16 abrams per deck whereas you might get8-10 planes in total per deck and maybe 4 of them will be cas on average
