Your focus is the optical design of product development for automotive lighting applications Optical evaluation of product design concepts Support LED chip product development with customer and application knowledge and studies in close alignment with our headquarters in Japan Conduct optical simulations (FEM and / or ray tracing) to evaluate product performance within the application Demonstrate feasibility to achieve target performance Verification of legal compliance o Tolerance studies Optimize optical system performance Support customers in optical design & simulation activities Executing photometrical measurements including documentation Support setting up lab infrastructure for photometrical measurements Support in purchasing of new equipment and software Support benchmarking, prototyping and product launch activities Organize and attend technical meetings Networking by visiting conferences and fairs Deliver input to product roadmap and improvement activities
