In order to buy, download, play or using the Software, you acknowledge that you have read and accept this agreement in in it’s entirety and agree to be bound by the terms therein. If you do not agree with these rules, you must not buy, download, play or use the Software.
In purchasing Ancient Warfare 3, you purchase a perpetual license to install and use Ancient Warfare 3 and other services, documents and materials (henceforth collectively known as “the Software”). Jannik Nickel (henceforth collectively known as “the Owner”) stays the owner of the Software and it stay his intellectual property.
GENERAL
You are not allowed to redistribute anything the Owner made, unless the Owner agrees to it. This means you are not allowed to:
-Make commercial use of anything the Owner have created
-Give copies of the Software away, to anyone else
-Sell or give away license keys (official gift keys from the gift code system are ok)
-Sell, upload or give away any game files (except files like output logs or other error files)
-Rip parts of the software out or redistribute them
You are allowed to create videos of gameplay of the Software and upload them to a platform of your choice. You are allowed to monetize these videos.
You are allowed to create screenshots of the gameplay of the Software and distribute them.
SUGGESTIONS
If you make a suggestion or share an idea for the Software or any other content created by the Owner, you are doing this for free and the Owner doesn’t have to accept or consider it. The Owner can use or not use the suggestion however the Owner wants without having to pay or mention you. So please think before you share your idea in the forums, email or other online services controlled by the Owner.
UPDATES
The Software might be updated from time to time, but the Owner is not obligated to provide any ongoing support or maintenance for the software.
MODS/USER GENERATED CONTENT
You may create and distribute user generated content, like Custom Battles, Level Bundles and other in-game content.
With regards to mods and other in-game content, the following terms apply:
-Your content must be distributed for free. You and no other person are not allowed to commercially exploit the content in any way. However, you can earn donations for your work.
-You are alone responsible for the content you provide!
-Your content must not contain any illegal material or material that violates copyright, trademark or other intellectual property restrictions.
-Your content may not be used to share malware
-Your content may not attack or bully any individual
-Your content must be presented as user generated content
You own the content you create, but you agree to give the Owner the permission to use, copy, modify, adapt, distribute and publicly display that content. This permission is not revocable and lasts forever. You also agree that the Owner gives other people the permission to use, copy, modify, adapt, distribute and publicly display your content. People who are consuming your content don’t have to credit you as the creator.
You are not allowed to decompile or extract any of the game assets and look through code, sound, images and other resources of the game.
BEHAVIOR
You may not, in connection with the Software or related forums controlled by the Owner, abuse, threat, discriminate or bully individuals.
You are also not allowed to pirate intellectual property or share illegal material.
WARRENTY
THE SOFTWARE IS PROVIDED "AS IS", WITHOUT WARRANTY OF ANY KIND, EXPRESS OR IMPLIED, INCLUDING BUT NOT LIMITED TO THE WARRANTIES OF MERCHANTABILITY, FITNESS FOR A PARTICULAR PURPOSE AND NONINFRINGEMENT. IN NO EVENT SHALL THE AUTHORS OR COPYRIGHT HOLDERS BE LIABLE FOR ANY CLAIM, DAMAGES OR OTHER LIABILITY, WHETHER IN AN ACTION OF CONTRACT, TORT OR OTHERWISE, ARISING FROM, OUT OF OR IN CONNECTION WITH THE SOFTWARE OR THE USE OR OTHER DEALINGS IN THE SOFTWARE.
TERMINATION
The Owner can terminate this EULA if you breach any of the terms provided in this EULA. This means that this license and the permission to use the Software can be revoked.
If you break any rules distributed in this EULA, for instance distribute the Software to pirates, the Owner can revoke your access to the game with no refund!
You can terminate this EULA at any time by uninstalling the Software from all your machines and delete any of files of the software from all your machines and storages.
If the EULA is terminated, you don’t longer have any of the rights to the software given in this license. However, you retain rights to your own user generated content.
