Wozu Early Access?

„The most fundamental reason for this is that we genuinely enjoy developing games with our communities. We firmly believe that developing a game like Neighbors: Suburban Warfare together with the players is the best way to unlock the full potential of the game. We need to observe it out in the open to identify what works and what needs change. We want to be able to focus on the content that the community wants, and this is the way we get to do that.“

Wie lange wird dieses Spiel ungefähr den Early Access-Status haben?

„This greatly depends on how the game evolves during the Early Access. We don’t want to force it out prematurely. We want to do this right and proper. That said, if we make good decisions along the way, we assess that the game could be in a good state and ready for 1.0 in one year’s time.“

Wie soll sich die Vollversion von der Early Access-Version unterscheiden?

„The full version is first and foremost expected to be fully balanced and more polished through feedback received during the Early Access. In addition to this it will contain at least two more game modes including maps for these. More Neighbors, Maps, Items, Houses and Customization. Exact amounts of these depend on the feedback collected during the Early Access.“

Was ist der derzeitige Stand der Early Access-Version?

„The Early Access version of the game will include our main game mode playable in two different maps. 8 playable character on Early Access launch with perk progression and level cap at 20 and selection of 5 houses playable in both maps. This will be expanded upon continuously as the Early Access runs.“

Wird dieses Spiel während und nach Early Access unterschiedlich viel kosten?

„We want Neighbors to be as accessible as possible so everyone has the possibility of joining the neighborhoods in Heartsville. Currently we have not decided if a price change will occur after Early Access, but we have a "Players first" mentality and will look to be and also keep(!) it player friendly.“

Wie werden Sie versuchen die Community in den Entwicklungsprozess miteinzubeziehen?

„We want to have as much interaction with the community as possible. We will regularly collect feedback and idea suggestions through both our Discord channel and Surveys. Besides this we will run Weekly Dev Streams, Competitions and other gimmicks. Updates will be shared on Discord and Steam Forums as we make progress as well as community-requested BTS insights.“

“Love thy neighbor”. Or so the saying goes at least. Well. On some days that might just not be what you want to do at all. Prepare, gear up and vandalize your way through your neighbors defenses to get the better of them.

NEIGHBORS: Suburban Warfare is a lighthearted team-based multiplayer game for up to 8 players that features a wide range of items, abilities and base-building. All set in the lovely neighborhoods in the grand city of Heartsville.

Heartsville is the home of many unique neighbors for you to meet and play as. From the old cheerful Doreen to the little annoying brat that is Kevin, there is sure to be a neighbor you can relate to.

As the seasons come and go, more neighbors will move into the neighborhoods of Heartsville.

It is always a good idea to be prepared for intruders. Strategize, purchase and fortify your house with a wide range of utility and traps. Don’t forget to tend to the garden where you can plant all kinds of fruits and vegetables to aid you in the battle.

Gear up for the offensive

While a good defense will come in handy, you know what they say: The best defense is a good offense. In NEIGHBORS: Suburban Warfare there are several ways to victory and neighborhood glory. It is up to you if you want to take the sneaky path or go in loud with a bang. Whether you are destroying you neighbor’s House Essentials, stealing their precious Garden Gnome or duking it out for most Knock Outs in Backyard Brawling, each game mode will require different skills and tactics.

However, no matter which path you choose you need to be clever about how to use the tools at hand.

Endless combinations of both ranged and melee tactics available

Enjoy a stroll down the harmonious Harmony Lane or the serene Serenity Summit. As time goes by more Neighborhoods will be opened up in Heartsville for you to brawl it out in. However, no matter which neighborhood you end up playing in, choosing your house will be critical.

In NEIGHBORS: Suburban Warfare, your home is your battleground. Choose between different houses and, with time, customize them to stand out among your neighbors.
