Willow Guard is a story-driven indie RPG that immerses players in the world of Tersa, where the Gods have abandoned the animals they once uplifted. Now, as horrifying monsters from another dimension invade, the inhabitants of Tersa turn to the legendary Willowguards for their survival!

The game combines strategic depth, visceral combat, and a masterfully crafted narrative to deliver an unforgettable experience for RPG and action enthusiasts alike. Players step into the role of Ghweros, a seasoned Willow Guard tasked with uncovering a dark plot to tear open portals between Tersa and the monstrous otherworld. Outside of combat, players will interact with a diverse cast of characters, uncover clues, and explore new locations in an engaging, choice-driven narrative. Combat in Willow Guard blends retro-inspired hack n’ slash mechanics with a customizable action deck system. Most common actions in a game loop expect players to:

• Build the deck with specialized Willow Guard abilities to slash, dash, and cast spells against relentless waves of increasingly powerful foes.

• Gather resources and upgrade the gear, kill monsters and complete tasks to collect materials for maintaining equipment, upgrading abilities, and preparing for battles.

• Plan ahead by stocking up on consumables and strategize to ensure success in every fight.

Through fully-realized interactive fiction gameplay, every decision matters. The choices made shape Ghweros’s abilities, the story's direction, and the clues for players to uncover, creating a truly personalized gameplay experience.

The full version of the game consists of 7 days, during which Ghweros does his best to complete all the quests, and this demo contains DAY 1 content of the game. We would highly appreciate community support in giving us feedback and helping us make the best possible version of the game.
