In the demo version, you can get a glimpse of the eerie and enigmatic world of Backroom Company. This demo version provides Level 0 of the full game, allowing you to test your wit and reflexes here.

• 🔍 Complete Objectives & Collect Items: Gather items to accomplish missions and clear each map. Use a camcorder to record ‘anomalies’ and ‘creatures’ lurking in the backrooms, collecting valuable research data.

While the demo provides a basic introduction, the full version offers a far richer experience with expanded content.

• 🚧 Additional Maps: The full version will introduce more complex and dangerous maps than those in the demo, including 'Hotel', 'Swimming Pool', 'Parking Lot', 'Sewers', and 'School'.

• 👾 New Creatures: A variety of new creatures with unique traits will be introduced, providing greater challenges.

• 🔧 Advanced Mechanics: Sophisticated strategy elements and advanced mechanics will be added, intensifying the tension and complexity of exploration.

• 📖 Expanded Story: In the full version, the true nature of Backroom Company and the purpose of its research will gradually be revealed.
  Search for hidden clues and documents throughout the maps to uncover the purpose of this facility and the origins of the creatures.

🎯 Game Overview:

Async Corporation (hereafter referred to as Backroom Company) is a specialized organization investigating a supernatural phenomenon known as 'noclipping,' which generates randomly connected rooms. However, records of who founded this corporation and its purpose remain unknown. Many explorers hired for research have gone missing, either lost in the maze-like structure or disappearing under mysterious circumstances.

Your mission is to trace their remnants and collect bizarre artifacts found only within the backrooms. But simple item collection is not enough to prove research progress. Utilizing a camcorder to document 'anomalies' and 'creatures' within the backrooms is also a crucial task. Gathering accurate research data may be the key to ensuring your survival.

In the Main Control Room, you can buy and sell essential items for exploration. Carefully select your equipment before embarking on your mission. Since inventory space is limited, strategic preparation is necessary.

Once a stage is selected, the elevator doors will open, marking the beginning of your research. Even if you die during the expedition, if your teammates reach the target amount, everyone can escape the stage together. However, if you fail to meet the objective five times, the Control Room will shut down permanently, and the expedition will come to an end.

Use your radio to stay in constant communication with your team. If you stray too far, the signal may cut off, drastically lowering your chances of survival. Even if you're injured, there may be ways to receive assistance from teammates remaining in the Main Control Room.

The backrooms are an illogical space, and the threats within them defy rational understanding. If you encounter bacteria, do not look back. They are unimaginably fast and cannot be killed. If there’s a locker nearby, hiding is your only chance of survival. If you come across a parasite-headed creature, do not make a sound. They cannot see, but they react intensely to noise. Move carefully.

But are the dangers you face really just accidents?

Blagos, the middle manager of Async Corporation (Backroom Company), frequently sends messages of encouragement to research participants, but more and more individuals are beginning to suspect hidden intentions behind his words. Researchers have started to realize that accidents in the backrooms may not be random occurrences but rather controlled interventions by an unknown force.

As you collect more records of 'anomalies' and 'creatures,' you'll begin to notice strange patterns. While documentation is an essential process for research success, you may soon find yourself questioning who this research truly serves.
