About This Game

Card Coder merges tactical card battles, inventory management and roguelike deck-building with a novel twist: Create your own custom cards during each run with an intuitive loadout system per card. Defeat challenging enemies to loot, shop and collect many different ability components. Slot them into your cards to define their behavior according to your playstyle:

• Choose a trigger to set the event that will cause this card to act: On Play; On Begin Turn; Whenever another card is played; etc.

• Define a condition to be fulfilled or an activation cost to be paid, before this card can act: Pay 1 energy; Wait for cooldown; Check if this card has full health; etc.

• Add a selector to decide which cards will be targeted: Select self; Select all enemy cards; Select commander, etc.

• Mix and match one or two effects that will be applied to all targeted cards: Deal 1 damage; Heal 1 hitpoint; Apply status “vulnerable”; Move the card to another location; Destroy the target; Return card to hand; Reduce cooldown; etc.

The energy cost of each card is then automatically balanced based on how powerful your created abilities are.

This card-building approach allows you to create more than 10 billion different cards and you’ll discover incredible synergies within your cards and powerful combos across your cards. Use everything to your advantage and crush your enemies in challenging rogue-like runs, high-stakes gauntlets and other game-modes to be unlocked.

• Upgrade the rarity of ability components by merging duplicates to gain stats bonuses and powerful status auras.

• Discover unique recipes: Certain combinations of ability components provide an additional bonus.

• Addicting gameloop: Fight an opponent, gain rewards, go shopping and create new and better cards to improve your deck. Face the next opponent until you beat the Big Bad.
