Change Extensions settings in Safari on Mac
In the Safari app on your Mac, use Extensions settings to change how you use extensions installed on your Mac.
To change these settings, choose Safari > Settings, then click Extensions.
Safari extensions are software programs you can install to customize the way your browser works. For example, extensions can show news headlines in a bar below the toolbar, change the appearance of web content, or add buttons to the Safari toolbar.

Installed Extensions list (on the left) | Shows which extensions are installed on your Mac. Select one to see or change its settings. Safari extensions update automatically with their apps. | ||||||||||

On Other Devices Extensions list (on the left) | Shows which extensions are installed on your other Apple devices where you’re signed in to the same Apple Account and have iCloud set up for Safari. Click an extension from another Apple device to install it on your Mac. | ||||||||||
Extension settings (on the right) | See or change settings for the selected extension. To remove an extension that came with an app, simply drag the app to the Trash. | ||||||||||
Clear Storage (not available for all extensions) | Clear the storage used by an extension if it’s using more disk space than expected. | ||||||||||
Share across devices | Make the extensions installed on your Mac available to any other Mac, and to any iPhone or iPad that supports the extension, where you’re signed in to the same Apple Account, have Safari turned on in iCloud settings, and have two-factor authentication turned on. | ||||||||||
