Change or turn off iPod touch sounds
In Settings , change or turn off the sounds iPod touch plays when you get a FaceTime or Wi-Fi call, text, email, reminder, or other type of notification.
Set sound options
Set options for alert tones and ringtones, and ringer and alert volumes.
Go to Settings
> Sounds.
Do any of the following:
Drag the slider to set the volume for the ringer and alerts.
Tap a sound type, such as Ringtone, then choose a tone.
Silence iPod touch
To temporarily silence incoming calls, alerts, and sound effects, open Control Center, tap Focus, then tap Do Not Disturb.
Tip: If you’re not receiving incoming calls and notifications when you expect them, open Control Center, then check whether Do Not Disturb is on. If is highlighted, tap it to turn off Do Not Disturb. (When Do Not Disturb is on,
also appears in the status bar.)
