It's Principle Wednesday! Today, we celebrate the 6th principle of our movement: UNITY There can be only one Red Cross or Red Crescent Society in any one country. It must be open to all. It must carry on its humanitarian work throughout its territory. This principle enables Baphalali Eswatini Red Cross Society to serve as a unifying force in the country and communities, and to promote understanding and peace. #KnowRedCross #FundamentalPrinciples #unityprinciple #wearebaphalali #KeepingHumanityAlive

Blood is the most precious gift; be a Hero, donate blood and save lives! By donating blood, it could save a loved one and it could save your life as well. Eswatini National Blood Transfusion Service (ENBTS) in partnership with Baphalali Eswatini Red Cross Society launched a blood donation awareness campaign in order to sensitize the nation about the importance of blood donation. This partnership aims to enhance blood donation efforts, increase community awareness, and improve the efficiency of blood collection and distribution. Baphalali will be supporting ENBTS in recruiting blood donors in the country. During the launch, the team discussed blood donation initiatives, and strategies to maximize the impact of our collaboration, ultimately saving lives and promoting public health. Edgars Stores donated clothing worth E41275 to Baphalali Eswatini Red Cross Society in order for the organization to continue carrying out its humanitarian mandate of helping the most vulnerable people in Eswatini. “We have decided to partner with the Red Cross as our way of giving back to the community of Eswatini because the people are the ones that support our business. we are in partnership with Red Cross for almost a decade now, and we will continue to donate to Red Cross as they are looking at different issues in the country especially disasters” said Patricia Dlamini (Mbabane Edgars stores) when handing over the clothing. “We are very grateful to Edgards Stores for the donation, and it is the 10th year we are in partnership with Edgars, and they have donated a combination of clothing worth more than E1 million. when disasters strike people lose their clothing, therefore this donation will help the organization a lot when providing response to affected people” said Baphalali PRO Nontobeko Dlamini. We are the partner of choice in alleviating human suffering. #wearebaphalali #savinglives #KeepHumanityAlive

It's a Principle Wednesday! Today, we celebrate the 4th principle of our movement: INDEPENDENCE The Movement is independent. National Societies, while auxiliaries in the humanitarian services of their governments and subject to the laws of their respective countries, must always maintain their autonomy so that they may be able at all times to act in accordance with the principles of the Movement. Therefore, in all our operations, we as Baphalali Eswatini Red Cross Society remain independent. #wearebaphalali #fundamentalprinciples #SavingLivesChangingMinds #KeepHumanityAlive
