The owner, Tetsuya Shimamoto, learned Edomae techniques at the Kobe branch of a certain Edomae sushi whose main store is in Shimbashi, Tokyo, then explored local seafood at a famous sushi restaurant in the Kobe City Central Wholesale Market, and then at the Hotel Okura Kobe. Moved to ``Sushihama Iso'' and improved the quality of a la carte dishes and service. Mr. Shimamoto's energy is focused on how to cook high-quality seafood because he wants to attract customers who love cooking.

We offer a course menu to suit your budget, using selection selected seasonal ingredients that reflect the changing seasons. Enjoy your meal at the counter, watching the careful preparation of the food right in front of you. For lunch, we recommend the 10,000 yen course, which includes an appetizer, around 11 pieces of sushi, miso soup, and dessert, plus a dish such as chawanmushi or a grilled dish. We always have 20 to 30 types of sake from all over the country, ranging from famous brands such as ``Juyondai'' and ``Jikon'' to rare ones. We carefully select dishes according to the cuisine and season. The sake vessels are selected by the owner himself, mainly works by famous artists from Toyama Prefecture. Please enjoy the texture that changes depending on the cup. For wine, we offer two types of domestic white wine that go well with fish, and KENZO ESTATE's Asatsuyu, a famous white wine with a refreshing and transparent feel. Enjoy your favorite drink.
