Tamil Superstar Rajnikanth’s craze has not gone down a bit, despite the fact that he is aged above 70.Even today, the producers and directors form a line in front of his house.
He is currently working on two projects.While the first one is ‘Jailer’ under Nelson Dilipkumar’s direction, he is playing a special role in his daughter Aishwarya Rajnikanth’s movie ‘Laal Salaam’.
Apparently, the shootings of both these films are in the last stages and he is all set to work with ‘Jai Bhim’ director TJ Gnanavel.This is Rajni’s 170th film and Lyca Productions will be bankrolling this prestigious project.
The latest buzz suggests that star hero Chiyaan Vikram has been approached to play the negative role in this movie.
While it is a dream for anyone to act in a movie with Rajnikanth, insiders reveal that the ‘I’ actor has politely refused the offer.
But the director is adamant on bringing him onboard as he feels that Vikram is the only actor that can do justice to the role he has written.The discussions are currently going on between Vikram and TJ Gnanavel according to reports and we need to wait and see what happens.
Coming to ‘Jailer’ which is arriving on 10th August, Mohanlal is playing a crucial role while Kannada star hero Shiva Rajkumar, Tamannaah, Sunil, Ramya Krishnan, Naga Babu, Jackie Shroff and others play key roles.Kalanithi Maran is bankrolling this project under Sun Pictures banner and Vijay Karthik Kannan is the cinematographer.R Nirmal is the editor.Vasanth Ravi, Ramya Krishnan, Vinayakan and Yogi Babu are playing supporting roles too.Anirudh is composing the music while Nelson Dilipkumar is the director.
