The M word: a workplace imperative . . . Menopause isn’t just a personal health journey — it significantly impacts workplace productivity, well-being, and engagement. Three weeks ago on World Menopause Awareness Day, we were reminded that over 1.2 billion women are expected to experience menopause by 2030. Millennial women make up an estimated 45% of the workforce. With this generation entering perimenopause and menopause, employers need to address this life stage with empathy and practical support. 💡 Studies show: Symptoms like poor concentration, sleep disturbances, and mood changes lead to absenteeism and reduced productivity. Companies that support their employees through menopause report increased retention, loyalty, and even bottom line. For HR Leaders: 1. Help employees to help you: by implementing flexible work-hour policies, you help individuals better manage their symptoms, so they can be their best at work. 2. Offer benefits that directly address menopause: Flex benefits, which include coverage ranging from counselling to specialised consultations and treatments, go a long way in showing (not just telling) that you empathise and are a great place to work. For Individuals: 1. Seek support within your workplace’s Employee Resource Group (ERG) for women. 2. Your company may already offer menopause benefits. Whip out that employee handbook! 3. Explore resources to help manage symptoms. 👉 Write in to get a summary of Zora Health’s recent webinar containing more data and tips on workplace menopause support: corporate@zorahealth.co We’ve got more resources for you in the comments! #FemTech #ZoraHealth #employeebenefits #partnership #womenshealth #Empowerment #health #healthcare #reproductivehealth #fertility #mentalhealth

Redefining health at your workplace At Zora Health, we know that addressing gaps in women’s health benefits isn’t just good business — it's essential for fostering an inclusive, supportive society. As MMB’s Health Trends 2024 report highlights, many regions still lack comprehensive women’s health coverage, from family planning and postpartum care to menopause support. 💡 Key Gaps Identified: - Fertility: Over half of insurers globally lack offerings for fertility, leaving a critical gap for employees during family planning. - Menopause Care: With 44% of insurers not covering menopause support, finding access to affordable and effective solutions for women navigating this life stage remains a challenge. Postpartum Support: 24% of insurers do not provide postpartum care, which impacts new mothers returning to the workforce. 👩⚕️ Why This Matters: Health benefits have become more than basic coverage — they're about ensuring all employees feel supported and valued at every stage of life. By bridging these gaps, your workforce can focus on creating value for your organisation with a peace of mind. 🤝 Take Action as an Employer: 1. Expand Support: Offer benefits that address key women’s health needs. If you’re unsure of what to offer, gather feedback in your quarterly engagement survey! 2. Empower Women: Offer resources they need to manage their health confidently at work and beyond. 3. Partner with a provider: build a culture of care by including a health solution that integrates seamlessly alongside your organisation’s existing wellness programme or group insurance plans. Let’s create a future where women in your organisation are not overlooked but recognised. 💪 👉 Explore a provider: https://lnkd.in/g3XAwjdC #FemTech #ZoraHealth #employeebenefits #partnership #womenshealth #Empowerment #health #healthcare #reproductivehealth #fertility #mentalhealth

Every impactful journey begins with a personal story. For us at Zora Health, it was Anna Vanessa Haotanto 陳安娜's experience that became a catalyst for change. Facing her own health challenges, Anna recognised the barriers individuals often face in the search for accessible, convenient, and affordable healthcare. An 8,000-word article she wrote post-treatment went viral (link in comment), starting her on a journey of speaking to hundreds of individuals and couples, eventually leading to the birth of Zora Health. 🌱 Today, we’ve moved beyond fertility to support every life stage, ranging from pregnancy & postpartum, menopause, hormonal health, and even men’s health concerns. We also work with employers to make healthcare more inclusive and equitable among workforces by saving time and fees spent looking for the best care, improving awareness of often overlooked conditions, and equipping all demographics with the right tools to take a proactive approach to their health. 🚀 Since day one, our mission has remained the same: to empower every individual to embrace life with options and without limitations. Stay tuned for updates throughout the week; we’ve got more in store for you, including a prize on 9th November for employers! 👉 More on Zora Health: https://lnkd.in/g4C2gZeM #FemTech #ZoraHealth #employeebenefits #partnership #womenshealth #Empowerment #health #healthcare #reproductivehealth #fertility #mentalhealth

Today, we celebrate the incredible journeys of individuals and couples navigating the complexities of fertility. World Fertility Day serves as a reminder of the importance of awareness, education, and support in fertility preservation, family planning, and reproductive health. Fertility is a shared journey—filled with hope, challenges, and milestones. It’s essential that we continue to break the stigma surrounding fertility issues and promote open conversations by fostering innovation and collaboration. Let’s honor the resilience of those facing fertility challenges and the healthcare professionals dedicated to providing the guidance, resources, and care they need. Together, we can help raise awareness, advocate for access to reproductive health services, and promote innovations in fertility care.

Knowing is Power! That works the same with women's health. As how fertility is very close with women's related health issues, women tend to stay away from regular health screening to avoid "the talk". In many countries, going to the gyne is only for the married and active, getting hormones screening is only for those trying to conceive. Regular screening should be normalized for women, because unlike the men, our body works differently that is very much driven by our reproductive organs. But in reality, only less than 50% of women from around the world go for regular screening, with almost 19.5% unable to name even one type of screening. How can we increase fertility and reproductive health awareness?

FERTILITY - Is it all about babies? When we talk about fertility, we think about making babies and our desire to start a family. But it is not all about that! Fertility does not define a person's worth but it could show a person's health - and in that case, the possibilities of a global health condition. Currently, more than 100 countries out of 204 countries have a fertility rate below the replacement rate, and it is predicted by 2100, 198 countries will be under. While many speak about their right over their bodies and the government raises concern about economy, as an individual, a decreasing fertility rate should be a great alarm on what we need to put our attention to - our fertility - just like how other chronic diseases make us a little more worry and a little more aware. In the next 5 days, we will be discussing in depth what is the real meaning of fertility and what it means by exercising our right through taking control of it - even if babies is not in the picture. Menopause represents a significant transition in a woman's life, often bringing a range of symptoms, including hot flashes, night sweats, and mood swings. While hot flashes receive considerable attention, the impact of sleep disturbances during this phase warrants equal focus. These disruptions can drastically affect a woman’s quality of life, leading to chronic fatigue and diminished daily functioning. To effectively address sleep disturbances in menopausal women, it's crucial to look beyond hot flashes. Acknowledging the broader spectrum of menopause-related issues that contribute to poor sleep quality can lead to more comprehensive strategies for managing symptoms and improving overall well-being. #femtech #sleep #insomnia #menopause #heyvenus
