💓 Earlier today, IHG Hotels & Resorts Thailand Employee Resource Groups 'Out & Open' and 'DAWN' hosted a special session about mental health, wellness and LGBTQ+ issues at the InterContinental Bangkok. With the mission to break down barriers about discussing this vital subject, "𝐁𝐞𝐲𝐨𝐧𝐝 𝐭𝐡𝐞 𝐑𝐚𝐢𝐧𝐛𝐨𝐰: 𝐌𝐞𝐧𝐭𝐚𝐥 𝐇𝐞𝐚𝐥𝐭𝐡, 𝐏𝐫𝐢𝐝𝐞 𝐚𝐧𝐝 𝐘𝐎𝐔" was honoured by guest speakers "Koen" Pataradanai Setsuwan, Thai singer turned mental health advocate and psychotherapist, and "Sanju" Amornthep Sachamuneewongse, mental health advocate and Founder of Sati App - created to ensure equitable access to mental health care.  . It was an impactful conversation that covered key areas around mental health that affect us all, from handling unconscious bias, maintaining self-love and advocacy, managing emotions, healthy boundaries and understanding the impact that exclusionary thinking can especially have on our LGBTQ+ teams. The expert panelists shared their insights on how to approach these challenges and do the work to ensure we play our part in creating an inclusive and supportive environment for all. . We finished off a wonderful month of #GivingForGood with more meaningful activities! . 👶 Providing a charitable donation of THB 10,000 as well as hosting lunch and playtime with the residents of the Foundation for Slum Child Care. 🏃♀️ Participating in the annual IHG Run For Good 2024, where proceeds were donated to support the Foundation for the Blind in Thailand under the Royal Patronage of H.M the Queen.
