Popular Thai singer-songwriter and LGBTQ+ activist Silvy Pavida Moriggi, also known as SILVY, has come out as bisexual in public. Her narrative of coming out is uplifting and inspirational, and it resonates with many members of the LGBTQ+ community. 🌈 Silvy came out as bisexual in an interview and through her social media platforms, using her influence to raise awareness and acceptance of bisexuality. Living authentically and inspiring others who may be struggling with their own identities drove Silvy's decision to come out publicly. This monumental step forward for LGBTQ+ rights was supported by 130 senators, with only four opposed. Next up: formal endorsement from the king, expected soon, followed by the law taking effect within 120 days of being published in the royal gazette.
