This is why we introduced the theme of 'Well-being Month,' embracing the ability to recognize one's capabilities, whether it’s to cope, take control, or work productively, effectively, and fruitfully. 1. Watch. Feel. Connect. (ดูหนังฟังใจ) Current society promotes agility, which can sometimes result in the inability to recognize emotions due to its complexities or a lack of control, eventually leading to feeling overwhelmed. Therefore, taking time to reflect and recognize these emotions (e.g., sadness and anxiety) can be beneficial. To support this, we held an interactive session featuring the movie Inside Out 2 along with a psychiatrist, who helped our employees become more present, connected, and understanding of their emotions. 2. Health Talk: Office Syndrome In collaboration with a physiotherapist from Mahidol University, Khun Phrattaya Pakpakorn, who shared valuable insights on office syndrome. The session highlighted the causes and provided practical tips on prevention, including proper workstation setup, regular stretching, and maintaining an active lifestyle. 3. Health Talk: Upper Respiratory Tract Infection As the seasons change and the weather becomes more unpredictable, it is important to know how to stay safe and avoid common upper respiratory tract infections (URTIs). We collaborated with Professor Naruemit Sayabovorn from the Faculty of Medicine at Siriraj Hospital, Mahidol University, to educate our employees on what URTIs are and how to prevent them. 4. Stretching Friday Stretching Friday is a simple yet powerful initiative to promote physical well-being and keep our team moving! This activity is all about taking a moment to step away from the desk, stretch those muscles, and reset. It’s amazing what a few minutes of stretching can do for your posture, focus, and overall mood! Not only does it help relieve tension from sitting, but it also boosts circulation and recharges your energy, setting you up for a productive day. 5. MayWe Given the high possibility of accumulated stress since the beginning of the year, Tipco Asphalt, in collaboration with Chulalongkorn University, has introduced the 'MayWe' application. This app uses AI to detect changes in a person’s voice to analyze levels of stress, anxiety, and depression. When mild or severe levels of these factors are detected, employees can use a coupon to speak with a support specialist or psychologist, respectively—promoting mental well-being. 6. Annual Health Check Up Lastly, to promote our employees’ physical well-being, we held an annual health check-up session to ensure that everyone is up-to-date and consistently taking care of their physical health.
