Katy Perry has a funny explanation for her fiancé Orlando Bloom's timeless appearance, even with an ageing filter.
The singer took to Instagram on Tuesday to share a happy post with Bloom that saw them age by 50 years. However, the filter didn't seem to affect Bloom's looks. The clip, set to her upcoming single 'Lifetimes,' the video showed Perry appear progressively more wrinkled next to Bloom who remained unaffected.
Perry, originally from Santa Barbara, California, has been actively promoting 'Lifetimes' following a lukewarm reception to her previous single, 'Woman's World.'
In the caption of the post, Katy Perry humorously referenced Orlando Bloom's iconic roles in The Lord of the Rings and Pirates of the Caribbean film franchises.She wrote, "Guess the filter doesn’t work on elves or pirates," adding, 'Sad.'
At the end of the age progression filter, which ran through the year 2074, Orlando Bloom and Katy Perry turned toward one another and kissed. The filter was a hit in the comment thread, with many of Perry's fans recalling the video for her 2010 single 'The One That Got Away,' in which she wore makeup to appear decades older.
