After gaining fame with his debut film 'Jaane Tu Ya Jaane Na',
Imran Khan has been largely absent from both the cinema and the public eye. Despite his fans’ anticipation for his comeback, he has been seldom seen around town. Recently, he attended the success party for
Junaid Khan’s debut film 'Maharaj' and was later seen chatting candidly with the paparazzi outside the event.
Imran made a stylish appearance at the party, sporting a dapper casual look with blue denims and a collared black T-shirt. He briefly posed for the cameras before heading to the lift with the other guests. In another video captured by paparazzi, Imran was seen leaving the venue when a particular feature on a photographer's phone caught his attention.
The success party for 'Maharaj' was attended by a notable guest list, including Imran Khan, Aamir Khan, Jaideep Ahlawat,
Shalini Pandey, and others. Directed by Siddharth P. Malhotra and produced by YRF Entertainment, the film is inspired by the Maharaj Libel Case of 1862 and Saurabh Shah’s novel on the subject.
Siddharth P. Malhotra, the film’s director, took to Instagram Stories to share exclusive pictures from the success party. He captioned one post, "Maharaj success party," along with heart emojis, and another photo featuring Aamir Khan with the caption, "Always a fan for life... Loved him then. Love him even more now and forever."
Imran was last seen in 'Katti Batti' opposite Kangana Ranaut, which did not perform well at the box office. Since then, the actor has taken an indefinite break from the screen. A year ago, Khan mentioned that he was reading scripts and engaging in creative conversations with filmmakers. Quoted by Instant Bollywood, he noted that he didn’t have a clear answer about his return but expressed hope for a potential comeback next year.
Khan was praised for his role in 'Delhi Belly'. He also starred in 'Mere Brother Ki Dulhan' with Ali Zafar and Katrina Kaif, which was a box office hit. Directed by Ali Abbas Zafar, the film did well. Imran is also known for his roles in 'I Hate Luv Storys' with
Sonam Kapoor and 'Ek Main Aur Ekk Tu' with
Kareena Kapoor.
