Sushmita Sen's ex boyfriend Rohman Shawl opens up on their bonding: 'It is something special'

Sushmita Sen and Rohman Shawl were dating each other for a few years before they announced that they've parted ways. Though, they said that their friendship continues. The post had read, "Their post in December 2021 read, "We began as friends, we remain friends!!! The relationship was long over… the love remains!”
However, Sushmita's heart attack and angioplasty, Rohman has often been spotted with the actress.He is seen escorting her at events, holding her hand as she walks. Recently, a video of his went viral where he was protecting her while a fan tried to take a selfie. Netizens called him a green flag. All this sparked rumours that the duo have reconciled their relationship. Amidst that, Rohman has now opened up on his bonding with the actress. In an interview with Instant Bollywood, Rohman said, "Vo to 6 saal se hain na saath mein to abhi naya kya hai (we’ve been together for six years, so what is new in that?). We have always been friends and there will be no change in that."
He further said that 'it is something very special and it's quite evident.'. Meanwhile, Sushmita has also recently admitted that she's single, amidst these rumours of their patch-up. The actress said, "As we sit here today, I have no man in my life. I have been single for a while now. I'm not even interested in anyone at the moment. "
Sushmita said this during a chat with Rhea Chakraborty on her podcast, 'Chapter 2'. During the same chat, Sen opened up on heartbreaks and said, “I am hugely protected. If anything becomes toxic in that environment, I walk away faster than you can take my name, and I don't miss it."
