Kamal Haasan meets his 'Thug Life' co star while promoting 'Indian 2' in Kerala

Actor Kamal Haasan's film 'Indian 2' directed by Shankar has hit the theatres today. The film is the sequel to the 1996 cult classic drama that featured the story of a freedom fighter who is against corruption. Ahead of the release, Kamal Haasan in his country wide tour visited various cities to promote the film and while visiting Kerala's Kochi the actor met Joju George, with whom he is acting alongside in the upcoming Tamil film 'Thug Life'.

Kamal Haasan took to social media to share that along with Siddharth and Bobby Simha, who played pivotal roles in 'Indian 2', he met 'Manjummel Boys' director Chidambaran and actor Joju George and said that they had an intense conversation. Sharing a couple of photos, Kamal Haasan captioned it, "Carriers of love from @jojugeorgeactorofficial."

It was only a couple of days back that Joju George while shooting for an action sequence in 'Thug Life' suffered injuries and got his foot fractured while performing a stunt that required him to jump from a helicopter along with Kamal Haasan and Nassar. However, without ample rest the actor completed shooting for his parts in the film and joined actor Suriya for the next film which is directed by Karthik Subbaraj.
'Thug Life' directed by Mani Ratnam stars Kamal Haasan, Trisha, Simbu, Ashok Selvan, Nassar, Abhirami, Joju George, Gautham Karthik, Aishwarya Lekshmi, Sanya Malhotra, Pankaj Tripati and Ali Fazal in lead roles. The music for it is composed by AR Rahman.
Meanwhile, Kamal Haasan is on the big screens with 'Indian 2' directed by Shankar. The film released in theatres today, July 12 and it features Kamal Haasan, Rakul Preet Singh, Siddharth, Bobby Simha, SJ Suryah, Samuthirakani, Priya Bhavani Shankar among others and the music for it is composed by Anirudh Ravichander.
