Telugu actor Raj Tarun skips police questioning amidst cheating allegations

Telugu actor Raj Tarun has recently found himself in the midst of a controversy after his former girlfriend, Lavanya, filed an FIR accusing him of cheating. Lavanya has alleged that Raj had an affair with a Mumbai-based model, leading to their breakup. This has garnered attention over the past few weeks.
In the latest development, according to a report by m9News, Raj Tarun failed to appear for police questioning scheduled for July 16.The actor sent his lawyers to the Narsingi Police Station with a letter explaining his absence. The letter stated that Raj was unable to attend due to promotional commitments for his new films. The police have accepted this letter and are expected to issue a new notice with a rescheduled date for the questioning.
The controversy escalated when Lavanya made fresh accusations against the actor. She claimed that Raj offered her Rs 5 crore to withdraw the cheating case, an offer she refused. Lavanya had initially filed the FIR at Narsingi Police Station, accusing Raj of making false promises of marriage and later deceiving her. She also alleged that Raj's close associates have been threatening her, pressuring her to end their relationship.

Raj Tarun has responded to these allegations by accusing Lavanya of blackmailing him. He claimed that Lavanya is under the influence of addictive substances and has been dating someone else for a while and has evidence to support his claims.
