Motorola has announced a new partnership with Corning at the ongoing Mobile World Congress (MWC) 2024 event which is being held in Barcelona, Spain. The Lenovo-owned smartphone maker has confirmed that it will use Corning Gorilla Glass protection on its entire smartphone line-up, starting from the second half of 2024. In a blog post, the company also noted this move will reinforce Motorola’s commitment to provide cutting-edge technology and ensure widespread accessibility across its franchises.
However, it's important to note that several Motorola devices already use Corning Gorilla Glass protection.
This announcement further strengthens the brand’s dedication to deliver high-quality products with advanced materials and technologies.
This collaboration builds upon Lenovo’s existing partnership with Corning in the laptop and tablet categories. Under this partnership, select Lenovo devices also feature Gorilla Glass protection.
Motorola said that it meticulously engineers every aspect of its smartphones, from cameras and displays to processors and software, to deliver a balanced user experience.
