It may seem as though Modi 3.0 has been in power for a long time, but the truth is that the new government was sworn in on June 9. Just one-and-a-half months ago. No wonder the ‘post-mortem’, though this may be an unfortunate and infelicitous expression, on the Bharatiya Janata Party’s (BJP’s) performance in the 2024 general election has not yet ended.
Several prominent figures from within the Sangh parivar have weighed in publicly. These include Rashtriya Swayamsevak Sangh (RSS) sarsanghchalak Mohan Bhagwat, Union minister Nitin Gadkari and Uttar Pradesh chief minister Yogi Adityanath. Among RSS intellectuals, the views of Ratan Sharda have also received widespread attention.
