Strongly taken up issue of 3 missing Indians with Iran: MEA
The ministry of external affairs (MEA) revealed, during their Friday briefing, that they have raised strong objections with Tehran after three Indian businessmen who traveled to Iran went missing.
MEA spokesperson Randhir Jaiswal stated that the government is in touch with their families and has taken up the matter with the Iranian Embassy in Delhi and the Iranian ministry of foreign affairs in Tehran. "MEA and the Embassy of India in Tehran remain in touch with Iranian authorities and have requested for their assistance in locating the missing nationals and ensuring their safety," said Jaiswal.

The MEA spokesperson also addressed the issue of Indian nationals missing in Russia during his briefing. "16 have gone missing and we are in touch with the Russian authorities," he said.
