Amazon-backed Anthropic launches Android app for Claude

Anthropic, the creator of ClaudeAI, has announced an Android app for its artificial intelligence (AI) chatbot. Claude by Anthropic offers free access to the company’s ChatGPT rival. It comes with the Claude 3.5 Sonnet model.
Announcing the app, the company said “The new Claude Android app brings the power of Claude—including our most powerful model, Claude 3.5 Sonnet—to Android users.The app is free and accessible with all plans, including Pro and Team”.

Claude by Anthropic is now available on Google Play Store. Interested users can head to the Play Store on their Android smartphones and download the app.
To recall, Anthropic announced the iOS app for ClaudeAI in May this year along with Teams subscription plan. Priced at $30 per user monthly, the team plan allows groups of 5 or more to share access to the full suite of ClaudeAI models.
