On his journey

It was a great journey full of love and I had fun doing the show. There were moments where I had my share of fights and disagreements. Kuch khatta, kuch Meetha my journey had all the flavours. You must have seen the rainbow, our Bigg Boss house was exactly like it as the show had people from all walks of life. I really enjoyed my time on the show and also learnt a lot.

Many people advised me to not do the show as I’d just undergone a hip replacement surgery

After spending so many years in journalism, I’ve now stopped feeling bad about anything. I have become very strong and termite proof you can call me. I don’t get angry with people easily and I don’t consider anyone responsible for my condition. I stay away from all these things. I gave my 100 percent to the show and I went inside the show in very difficult conditions. Many people advised me to not do the show as I’d just undergone a hip replacement surgery and I decided to go inside the show within 15 days of it. But I took it as a challenge and went. I felt I would survive only a week or so but I stayed for a month and I feel happy about it.

On Ranvir Shorey, Lovekesh Yadav getting emotional

People who got emotional on my elimination prove my contribution in the show. I had told everyone to not cry as I feel bad. We have not parted ways, we all will meet very soon and at each other’s places this time. I have made strong relationships inside the house and it will stay forever. It doesn’t matter to me if people feel my contribution was positive or negative as I was not there to win the trophy.

Sana Makbul was my biggest critic

Sana Makbul was my biggest critic

Sana Makbul has been my biggest critic. She would often make numerous comments about me publicly, both to people and on various cameras. However, I have a lot of love and respect for her. The strongest evidence of my contribution to the show is when she herself approached me and asked me to become the first head of the house. This clearly shows that even the person who consistently criticized me wanted me to lead the house.

On Ranvir Shorey nominating him

I’ve made many decisions in life when I’ve felt ye kya sochega, Woh kya sochega and shayad koi bura Maan jaayega. I don’t think decisions should be made on the basis of these things, they should be made keeping what is wrong and right in mind. I did not feel bad about anything, it was in my destiny and nobody could have changed it. God made Ranvir Shorey the medium to get me evicted from the house so that I can go to my own house. I am not angry and I did not feel bad at all.

Why he refused to become the head of the house in BBOTT 3

I chose not to lead the house because I wanted to give the younger generation an opportunity. Having led many teams in my professional career, I felt it was important for someone younger to take on this responsibility. When people with different ideologies come together in a competition, managing them, delegating tasks, and addressing their needs requires youthful energy and perspective. That’s why I suggested Armaan's name for the role. In the future, I would have given chances to Vishal, Sai, and Lovekesh, as Sana had already served as captain.

On Armaan Malik's entry in Bigg Boss OTT 3 with two wives and is he promoting polygamy?

The makers decided to bring Armaan Malik and his two wives on the show, and I trust they considered this carefully. I believe Bigg Boss should feature people from diverse backgrounds, and I don’t see anything wrong with it. It's their personal choice to live their lives that way, and whatever they've done, it must have been within the boundaries of the law. I just want to emphasize that the Bigg Boss house should include individuals with varied backgrounds and perspectives.
