Exclusive - Rohit Shetty opens up on hosting the adventure based reality show: says 'Khatron Ke Khiladi is my comfort zone, I feel at ease with this show'

The blockbuster entertainer Rohit Shetty is making a comeback to television screens to host another season of Khatron Ke Khiladi. In an exclusive interview with ETimes TV, the director-turned-host reflected on his 10-year journey with the adventure-based reality show, giving full credit to his audience. He also discussed shooting in Romania and shared insights about Singham 3.
Speaking about the excitement for Khatron Ke Khiladi 14, Rohit said, "I am thrilled for the new season and hope that our excitement resonates with the audience when they watch the stunts.I sincerely hope they enjoy it, and I am confident that the hard work we've put in will ensure they love this season just as much as the previous ones."

Reflecting on his 10-year journey with the adventure-based reality show, Rohit Shetty shared how his involvement has evolved over the years, "I strive to improve with each season, and every day is a learning experience. However, I would say that Khatron Ke Khiladi is my comfort zone because I know the audience loves me as the host. While I feel at ease with this show, I never want to take my viewers for granted or assume that what I’m doing is always right. We must work hard every time we return with the show and consistently introduce new elements. This season, we filmed in a new country, and the stunts are fresh and exciting."


He further emphasized that designing stunts for actors, who aren't trained professionals, requires his full attention and participation. "This show requires me to be deeply involved in designing the stunts because the contestants are actors, not professional stuntmen. Since they aren't trained for these challenges, I need to be fully engaged when they perform the stunts. Unlike a film set, where there are duplicates to perform stunts or opportunities for retakes, I have to stay alert and ensure everything goes smoothly while the stunts are happening," concluded the filmmaker.
