Rushad Rana's show Mehndi Wala Ghar is going off air on August 9. The show that commenced in January 2024 and had Karan Mehra, Shehzad Sheikh, Paintal, Vibha Chibber and Rushad Rana in important roles is all set to wrap up in August.
Rushad said, "We are deeply saddened by this development. It was shocking news for us when we came to know that the channel has decided to wrap up the show. The show was doing very well and we had a good run.
The characters had become popular and people had started knowing us by our character names. So, it was difficult for us to accept the fact that the show is wrapping up."
Rushad, who has been part of many TV shows like Anupamaa, Shakti, Sapnon Ki Chalang and Kumkum Bhagya, added, "We are ending the show on a positive note. I made great friends on the sets and we are going home with good memories. It was a great opportunity to work with actors like Paintal and Vibha Chibber. I enjoyed working on the sets of the show. It was a good team."
In an earlier interview, Rushad had shared if his track will revive on Anupamaa. He had said, "I have no clue if my track will be revived. The production house has not kept me in the loop about further development in the story and so I have no clue if I will be back. Ideally, if they have shown my character to have a child in the show then they should get me back. I was playing Kavya's (Madalsa Sharma) ex-husband in the show, with whom she has a child after marrying Vanraj (Sudhanshu Pandey)."

We are super excited and happy: Rushad Rana ties the knot
