Our guest, Brisbane Roar FC COO Zac Anderson, joined Tarkan to analyze the top 3 U23 talents of the Australian A-Leagues. It's interesting to note that 19-year-old centre-forward Thomas Waddingham is a homegrown talent, while both Trewin and Alagich have previously played for the Queensland team. Around the world, people are questioning how accurately artificial intelligence can identify football talent. Zac stayed in Singapore after retiring from football, founding Samara Capital, an investment firm that launched and co-invested in Singaporean and APAC SMEs. Through his connections in Singapore, Zac co-founded First 11 Capital, which supported high-net-worth individuals in exploring strategic club acquisitions. Zac joined Brisbane Roar FC in July 2024, helping transform the club and focusing on driving an aggressive growth strategy to achieve long-term sustainability. About Tarkan Batgün-CEO of Comparisonator Mr. Batgun brings over 20 years of analytical expertise and experience from both club and agency perspectives in the global football business. He served as a Board Member at Altinordu FK during the 2020-21 season and worked as a lecturer at Istanbul's prominent Halic University's Physical Education and Sports Faculty from 2010 to 2021. Mr. Batgun's career includes roles as the Director of Scouting at Bursaspor, where he pioneered the concept of the 'Scouting Laboratory,' and as a management consultant at leading companies such as SoccerLab, Wyscout, and Sportstech throughout the last 15 years. He has been actively involved in football education, having lectured at the Turkish Football Federation on Match Analysis and Scouting courses since 2010.
