By applying mathematical operations to luminance distribution images, Homogenium ensures compliance with OEM standards, enhancing both quality and accuracy in automotive lighting. DTM SACHSENRING HIGHLIGHTS // The Sachsenring weekend was a spectacular showcase of motorsport excitement! From roaring engines to engaging technical discussions, the atmosphere was electric. Mirko Bortolotti delivered a standout performance with a P2 finish in Race 1, propelling him back to the top of the championship standings! 🥈 Nicki Thiim, despite a challenging start, battled hard to finish P14. Sunday was tough, but with Mirko’s P7 and Nicki’s P11, SSR Performance walked away with valuable championship points. Beyond the on-track action, our EDAG team, along with the Formula Student teams High-Voltage Motorsports e.V. and T.U.C. Racing e.V., enjoyed exclusive behind-the-scenes tours of the pit lane and the SSR Performance GmbH box. The experience offered fascinating insights and was a highlight for everyone involved. EDAG DO BRASIL // KART3 HAS ARRIVED! We are thrilled to announce that EDAG do Brasil has received the F4 model from Kart3 Racing Team, now proudly on display in our office reception! Our employees will have the unique opportunity to see firsthand the go-kart used in official competitions. Led by our Project Manager, Leandro Santalla, Kart3 Racing Team has achieved impressive results in endurance races, and we are eager to see them reach the top of the podium soon! Karting in Brazil is a highly competitive and prestigious sport. Even in amateur competitions, the professionalism, dedication, and technical skills of the drivers are remarkable. H1 2024: RESILIENT PERFORMANCE IN A CHALLENGING ENVIRONMENT // In the first half of 2024, the EDAG Group demonstrated resilience, achieving a revenue increase of 1.8 %, totaling € 429.2 million. The solid growth in Production Solutions (+26.3 %) and steady performance in Vehicle Engineering (+0.1 %) were key contributors. Our adjusted EBIT stood at € 21.8 million, resulting in a 5.1 % margin, slightly lower than last year’s 5.6 %. While we observed a decline in order intake, positive trends in cash flow were evident, with operating cash flow increasing by € 37.5 million. June marked the successful opening of our Zero Prototype Lab in Wolfsburg—a one-of-a-kind driving dynamics simulation center in Europe. This facility enables virtual vehicle testing, fostering a more sustainable approach to development. Our focus remains on boosting order intake and broadening our service offerings.
