The latest YEKA auctions have once again highlighted strong investor confidence in Türkiye’s renewable energy market. With participation from nearly 100 domestic and international companies, a total of 2,000 MW of capacity was awarded, marking another milestone in Türkiye’s clean energy journey. Key Highlights: ✅ 11 awarded projects in wind and solar ✅ Competitive pricing between USD 32.5-USD 35 per MWh ✅ 20-year USD-denominated purchase guarantee ✅ Opportunity to sell at market prices for up to 6 years ✅ Transmission fee exemption for awarded projects ✅ International arbitration option for dispute resolution ✅ Türkiye’s wind and solar capacity is expected to quadruple in the next 10 years Strong investor interest and increasing competition reaffirm Türkiye’s stable investment environment, growing energy demand, and commitment to decarbonization. Türkiye ascends as the nexus of exports for global investors, offering cutting-edge production capabilities and a growing presence in world markets. Türkiye’s merchandise exports reached a record-breaking USD 261.9 billion in 2024, marking a 2.5% increase from the previous year. With this remarkable performance, Türkiye’s share in global exports surged to 1.06%, up from 0.55% in 2002, reflecting its expanding influence in international trade. The technological composition of Türkiye’s exports also continues to evolve steadily. The share of high and medium-high tech products in manufactured exports grew from 30% in 2002 to 41% in 2024, highlighting Türkiye’s shift toward innovation and value-added production. #Türkiye #NexusofExports #trade #innovation #economicgrowth

Investment Office of the Presidency of the Republic of Türkiye conducted a roadshow featuring seven cutting-edge Turkish health-tech startups–Orthero Aligner - Şeffaf Aparey Ortodonti, Cellsway, Bonegraft Biomaterials, Cellestetix (SickScience Labs, Inc.), ERG Controls - YIKA, Virasoft Corporation, and Hevi AI–at Arab Health Exhibition 2025 in Dubai, one of the world’s largest healthcare exhibitions. These innovative startups engaged with key stakeholders, including leading hospital and clinic chains, healthcare-focused investors, venture capital funds, and the Dubai Healthcare City Authority, Government of Dubai, strengthening Türkiye’s presence in the global health-tech ecosystem.
