Here is some information about Walruses to emphasize the challenge at background what we are dealing with 😎 Weight: • Adult male walruses: Weigh between 1,700 to 3,700 pounds (800 to 1,700 kg). • Adult female walruses: Weigh between 880 to 2,700 pounds (400 to 1,200 kg). Daily Food Consumption: • Walruses primarily feed on benthic organisms, like clams, snails, and other invertebrates found on the seafloor. • On average, a walrus can consume about 3% to 6% of its body weight in food each day. For example, a 1,000 kg walrus might eat between 30 to 60 kg (66 to 132 pounds) of food daily.
