Mimaristudio is an architecture and interior design office based in istanbul and was established in 2006 by Onder KUL and Ayca AKKAYA KUL, with the accumulation of experience gained in various prominent architecture firms since 1995. Mimaristudio works on WELL criterias since 2018 and creates corporate projects based on sustainability, well-being and biophilic design approaches. Mimaristudio' s main objective is to provide a unique, innovative, contemporary and high end services in the fields of architecture, interior design and industrial design. In the bustling surroundings of Atasehir, Istanbul, our new #BASF office is located on the 5th and 6th floors of the LEED Gold certified building "Nidakule Bati". More than 200 colleagues have the opportunity to select a flexible workspace throughout 1,700 m² of office space and spend their day a little closer to the clouds. And what a #greatplacetowork! As soon as you step out of the elevator, the quality of this space is clear. The fully glazed perimeter brings the outside in, allowing panoramic views over the city. Thanks to the support of MIMARISTUDIO and Oğuz Bayazıt Mimarlık, an innovative office has been created to consider functionality, sustainability and aesthetics in equal measure, all whilst incorporating the #BASF corporate design guidelines. Distinctive cell membrane structures on the ceiling, glass walls and furniture clearly identify the space; if it says BASF on the outside, BASF is in it. This is due to the use of BASF's product #Basotect®, a foam made of melamine resin, which was integrated into the design and installed as a sound absorber and for thermal insulation. This innovative material contributes to the energy-efficient use of the space and the reduction of emissions.
