An established Turkish furniture designer & manufacturer, Parla is an Istanbul based family business, with crafts heritage spanning 4 generations. The history of Parla began in 1910 with the great grandfather of the current owners crafting furniture for the Ottoman Empire. Over time, and generations, we developed the Parla brand which is a modern operation with a showroom and 15,000sqm factory in Istanbul plus presence in London, New York, Miami, and Dubai. With an in house team of 15 young and dynamic designers, a factory of highly skilled craftsmen in areas such as wood, metal, glass and upholstery, over 300 employees are working tirelessly to continue the legacy. We deliver our products in two distinctive ways; these can either be used in projects singularly or in a manner where they compliment each other. Parla Bespoke offers a service that is customer centric, handcrafts oriented and value engineered. Projects delivered to luxury restaurant, hotel and cruise ship interiors span worldwide, and brands such as Mandarin Oriental, The Peninsula, Four Seasons & Six Senses are a selection of the many esteemed hospitality venues we supply FF&E and in some cases also fitted furniture. And, Parla Collection is a contemporary and versatile portfolio of loose furniture that includes award winning designs, collaborations with renowned designers and various price points suitable for all types of hospitality, office & residential projects. Garnering steady expansion over the past 3 years, we’ve forged a presence in key markets such as the UK, Europe, USA, and GCC boasting 30+ dealers. Parla Collection embodies our commitment to design excellence and recognition of passionate designers. We are proud to say that, over the years, we have delivered projects in collaboration with more than 300 restaurants & hotels in over 50 countries. We are now excited to be starting to supply products to cruise ships, offices and large residential projects as well.

We really enjoyed welcoming a group of emerging designers from Istanbul Bilgi University to our factory last week. We are looking forward to all the different elements of our partnership in 2025, during which we will share knowledge and expertise with the hope of inspiring the next generation!
Last week, İstanbul Bilgi University Industrial Design students visited the manufacturing facilities of Parla Design. The field trip was organized, as part of ID 302 Industrial Design Studio, focusing on sustainable furniture design. At Parla Design, we very impressed to see how craftsmanship was blended with technology and mass production. We would like to thank Parla Design Parla for the invitation and the sponsorship. Special thanks to designers Berrak Şener Berrak İlkcan Şener and Gizem Arpacı @Gizem Arpacı for their guidence during the visit.

The history of Parla began in 1910 with the great grandfather of the current owners crafting furniture for the Ottoman Empire. Continuing our legacy of heritage crafts for 115 years, we have a factory lead by artisans that includes in house workshops that work with materials such as wood, metal, upholstery, glass, stone and the like. So, we can confidently say that we are a one stop shop for all furniture related needs!

Working on small scale models, developing the design so that it is flawless and then crafting a prototype for you, the client, to review are all stages that we enjoy, plus take very seriously.
