Earth Observation satellites play a crucial role in cities like Ankara, which not only has a dense urban population but also water resources and green spaces. 💧 Water Resource Management: Tracking lake levels, such as Eymir and Mogan, to help prevent water shortages. 🌳 Green Space Monitoring: Observing urban vegetation and forests, including METU Forest, to support sustainability efforts. 🏗️ Illegal Construction Detection: Identifying unauthorized developments in protected areas to safeguard the city's landscape. Yaklaşık 3.5 yıl önce hemen hemen kimsenin cesaret edemediği, yıllarca insanoğlunun bakıp sadece hayaller kurabildiği, bir çoğunun çok uzak, çok zor, çok riskli bulduğu UZAYa gitmek için bir plan yaptık. İsmini de, planımızı açık açık yazalım diye Plan-S(pace) koyduk Plan-S Satellite and Space Technologies😊 3.5 yıllık bu serüvende, yapılamaz denilen bir çok şeyi yaptık. Bir Dünya Teknoloji Start-up klasiği olsun istermiş gibi kapalı bir garajda başladığımız bu hikayede, hem tamamen sıfırdan laboratuvarlarımızı, çalışma alanlarımızı, temiz odalarımızı kurduk; hem de Türkiye’nin en iyi ekiplerinden birini bir araya getirip her yıl Great Place to Work unvanı alıp, üstüne de 13 tane uydu gönderdik😊 Bununla da kalmayıp uydu geliştirme, uydu IoT gibi konularda da dünyanın en iyi firmaları arasında olduğumuzu rahatlıkla söyleyebilirim. Geriye dönüp bakınca böyle kolayca anlatılabiliyor belki ama yapılan her şey tamamen inanmış bir ekibin üstün çabasıyla mümkün oldu. Bu çabayı veren tüm takım arkadaşlarıma tek tek sonsuz teşekkür ediyorum. İyi ki varsınız. Zor yollar titiz bir planlama ve iyi bir ekibin odaklı çalışmasını gerektiriyor. Bu zorlu yolda ilk günden beri yapmış olduğumuz planlar çerçevesinde önemli bir kilometre taşına daha bugün gelmiş bulunuyoruz. Artık uzaya düzenli olarak gidebildiğimize göre 😊 Barış Abi’nin “Hemşerim Memleket Nire?” sözünü dinleyip “Bu Dünya Benim Memleket” diyerek Dünya’daki çalışmalara daha fazla odaklanmak üzere bugün itibari ile Plan-S’teki CEO’luk görevimden ayrılmış bulunuyorum. Yanlış anlaşılmasın, tamamen Dünya’ya dönüyoruz diye bu görevi bırakmıyorum, uzay çalışmalarına biraz da Dünya gözüyle bakmak için Plan-S’te bundan sonra Kurucu Ortak ve Yönetim Kurulu Başkan Vekili olarak görevlerime devam edeceğim😊 CEO’luk görevini ise yolun başından bari hep beraber yürüdüğümüz (daha çok koştuğumuz😊) ve hep beraber harika işlere imza attığımız Özdemir Gümüşay üstlenecek. Eminim ki yakın zamanda haberlerini almaya başlayacağınız gibi Özdemir abinin önderliğinde Plan-S ile başarıdan başarıya koşacağız. Bu 3.5 yılda sadece Plan-S’le değil aynı zamanda INFINIA ekosistemimizdeki bütün firmalarımız ile bir çok başarıya imza attık. Dediğim gibi zor yollar planlama ve odaklanma gerektiriyor. Artık çeşitli sektörlerde gösterdiğimiz bu başarılı teknolojilerimizin kullanım alanlarını genişletmeye, yaygınlaştırmaya ve çözümleştirmeye daha çok kafa yormamız gereken bir dönemdeyiz. Ben de önümüzdeki süreçte, kurmuş olduğumuz bu teknoloji ekosisteminde çatı rolü oynayan INFINIA ile tüm ekosistemdeki firmalarımıza, partnerlerimize, paydaşlarımıza ve ülkemiz teknoloji ekosistemine yarayacak şekilde, yurtdışı iş fırsatları ve iş birlikleri konusuna yoğun şekilde odaklanacağım. Son dönemde özellikle MENA bölgesinde almış olduğumuz projelerin de sonucunda farklı sektör ve alanlarda çok heyecanlı gelişmeler bizleri bekliyor. Bu vesileyle de biraz daha sık mutlu haberlerle zaman tünelinize düşmeyi hedefliyorum 😊
